In 1966, Armory Hall in New York City hosted "9 Evenings: Theater and Engineering," a visionary collaboration between artists and engineers from Bell Labs. This event led to the creation of the nonprofit organization E.A.T. – Experiments in Art and Technology . The artist Robert Rauschenberg, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday in 2025, was right in the middle of it as a co-founder.
